Missing You：John Waite(約翰韋特)的單飛成名曲

不少老骨頭應該都知道旅行者合唱團(Journey)吧，這支合唱團在70年代末80年代初紅極一時，經典作品不少，其中Open Arms先後被瑪麗亞凱莉(Mariah Carey)及大人小孩雙拍檔(Boyz II Men)等幾位天王天后翻唱過，可以算是經典中的經典。

主唱約翰韋特(John Waite)在單飛後，於1984年的第二張個人專輯「No Brakes」中收錄了主打歌曲Missing You，一發行隨即攻上Billboard百大單曲榜的冠軍，主流搖滾榜也是冠軍，成人當代榜則是第7名。

Missing You被不少歌手翻唱過，比較知名的有蒂娜透娜(Tina Turner)、洛史都華(Rod Stewart)等。華人歌手周華健於1991年發行的專輯「Blue Bird」，也曾翻唱了這首歌。

經過23年後，咱帥氣的John Waite已從年輕帥氣的小夥子變成型男大叔，於2007年推出「Downtown：Journey of a Heart」專輯，專輯中將Missing You重新編曲，並找來葛萊美獎常客Alison Krauss一起合唱；全新的版本，不同的味道，再次重現經典！
