The Final Countdown：歐洲合唱團(Europe)的成名曲

2013年的某一天，我聽到電視新聞說歐洲合唱團(Europe)要來台開演唱會。咦？歐洲合唱團不是解散很久了嗎？這個歐洲合唱團是哪來的啊？

於是我上網查了一下，原來歐洲合唱團在1992年解散後，又於2004年合體了。也許是因為他們重組之後並沒有比較紅的歌曲，並以巡迴演唱會為主，所以我才完全不知道這支來自瑞典的重金屬合唱團復活一事。

說到歐洲合唱團，就不能不提The Final Countdown。The Final Countdown是歐洲合唱團最紅、知名度最高的代表作品，這首搖滾樂曲氣勢磅礡，媒體常以石破天驚形容之，一點都不為過。

The Final Countdown收錄在1986年的同名專輯「The Final Countdown」中。這張專輯發行後以野火燎原之勢迅速攻占26國排行榜冠軍，並在Billboard 200專輯榜上名列第8，全球總銷售量最終突破1500萬張！

The Final Countdown經典到什麼程度？很多人幾乎只要聽到前奏4個音節，就知道是它了。這絕對不誇張，The Final Countdown的節奏感強烈，旋律又非常鮮明，加上歐洲合唱團精彩的詮釋，不經典也難！
