Rock Me Amadeus：Billboard榜史第一首德文冠軍

西元1986年3月，Billboard百大單曲榜出現了一首德文歌強佔了3週冠軍寶座；這是Billboard樂史第一首登上單曲榜冠軍的德文歌，當時轟動全球。這首歌就是由奧地利歌手Falco所演唱的「Rock Me Amadeus」。

Rock Me Amadeus收錄在Falco於1985年發行的「Falco 3」專輯中。很難想像，這首節奏感強烈的歌曲居然是Falco為了致敬偉大的奧地利古典音樂家莫扎特(Amadeus翻譯為阿瑪迪斯，就是莫扎特的中間名)，與荷蘭音樂家Bolland＆Bolland共同創作出來的。

一般來說，一首歌若是以一個古典音樂家為主題，旋律應該會偏向古典風，而且歌詞絕對充滿敬意；而Falco不愧為音樂奇才，他就偏不這麼弄。Rock Me Amadeus不但走搖滾曲風，歌詞更是影射莫扎特生前的債務問題，有點嘲諷一文錢逼死英雄好漢的味道。

Falco用這種反差的方式向莫扎特致敬，在當年算是十分大膽，沒想到這種大膽的方式居然受到廣大的歡迎。Rock Me Amadeus的火熱很快的從歐陸擴散到全世界，拿下了奧地利、德國、愛爾蘭、西班牙、瑞典、紐西蘭、加拿大等國排行榜第一名，當然也包括了美國Billboard。

除了Rock Me Amadeus，Falco還有許多知名的經典歌曲，像是Jeanny、Der Kommissar等。可惜的是Falco已於1998年發生車禍而重傷不治，現在的我們只能透過他那獨特的音樂風格與才華，來緬懷這位音樂奇才了。
