Eye of the Tiger：生存者樂團(Survivor)最紅的搖滾經典
幾天前的晚上陪著兒子女兒觀看電視上首播的DC超級英雄電影「沙贊」(Shazam!)。當女兒聽到沙贊邊放閃電邊耍寶那一幕的背景音樂時，轉頭問我：爸，這首歌叫什麼名字？常常都會聽到耶。
她問的歌曲就是生存者樂團(Survivor)最紅的代表作「Eye of the Tiger」。這首歌很常被電視、電影拿來當配樂，近年來也成為健身房國歌；女兒說她常聽到，應該是小時候帶她去健身房時被轟炸過。
Eye of the Tiger是生存者樂團為1982年由席維斯史特龍(Sylvester Stallone)主演的電影「洛基3」(ROCKY 3)所創作的搖滾歌曲，收錄在「洛基3」電影原聲帶與他們的第三張專輯「Eye Of The Tiger」。
由於Eye of the Tiger的旋律十分好聽而且熱血，加上是賣座電影「洛基3」的主題曲，很快地就席捲全球；這首歌不但蟬聯了6週Billboard百大單曲榜冠軍，包含英國單曲榜在內的多國排行榜也都奪冠。
Eye of the Tiger的銷售成績也十分優異，不但實體唱片的總銷量超過200萬張，連網路數位音樂的下載次數都突破410萬次。美國VH1音樂頻道將它列為史上最偉大的硬式搖滾(Hard Rock)排名第63絕對實至名歸。
