They Don’t Care About Us：麥可傑克森當年在美國被禁的好歌
They Don’t Care About Us收錄在麥可傑克森(Michael Jackson)於1995年發行的「History」專輯中，這首鼓聲節奏強烈的歌曲，當年居然遭到全美國所有電台禁播，讓我覺得不可思議；現在就以我在網路找到的資料，來為這首歌平反一下。
這首歌之所以會被禁播，原因在於遭到指控歌詞中有一些反猶太主義的字眼。當年媒體對麥可的戀童案大肆抹黑與攻擊，導致整個社會對麥可的形象幾乎破滅，所以麥可就在They Don’t Care About Us這首歌中用jew me 和kike me兩句歌詞，暗指媒體以對待猶太人的惡毒方式對待他，其實根本沒有任何反種族主義的意思，但還是被誇大渲染，導致這首歌在美國被禁播！
多年後，戀童案的主角坦承當年完全是誣告，終於還麥可清白！這就表示當年的麥可面對媒體無情的追殺，承受了多少委屈與無奈！設身處地的想，我若是麥可，別說反種族主義的字眼，可能連三字經都出來了…..=.=”
因為在美國被禁播，所以這首歌沒有進過Billboard告示牌任何一個榜單，但卻在歐洲很受歡迎；英國單曲榜最佳名次為第4名，法國單曲榜也是第4名；而在曾經清算種族主義的德國，這首歌更是爆紅，蟬聯了3週德國單曲榜冠軍！
撇開麥可藉歌詞抒發情緒這件事，They Don’t Care About Us其實也表達了對弱勢族群的同情，以及呼籲人們為自己的權利戰鬥的意義，在這首歌的MV中就可以看得出來。這麼正面的一首歌，居然有如此命運，實在令人覺得婉惜。
